Service Engineer – Field Support & Automation

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve technical issues related to equipment, processes, and software.
  • Perform equipment installation and setup — from layout planning to commissioning.
  • Provide troubleshooting and technical support to customers on-site and remotely.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, parts overhaul, equipment modifications, and repair work.
  • Provide technical advices/solution and support to achieve better quality, productivity and cost objectives.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand and fulfill design concepts and requirements.
  • Track engineering changes and ensure all documentation, including machine operation manuals, is updated accordingly.
  • Prepare and submit detailed technical issue reports.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call duty roster for urgent support.

Requirements:

  • Minimum ITE, Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Background in engineering or semiconductor industry preferred.
  • Good communications & organization skill.
  • PC relevant knowledge.
  • Self-motivated, responsible and team player.
  • Prior experience in service roles or customer-facing positions is a plus.
  • Own transport will be an advantage
