Service Engineer

We are looking for motivated and technically inclined individuals to join our team as Field Service Engineers. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and entry-level candidates to build a career in equipment installation, maintenance, and technical support within a high-technology manufacturing environment. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment operates at optimal performance.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs and adjustments.
• Support equipment setup, installation, modification, and commissioning activities.
• Prepare service reports and technical documentation upon completion of service activities.
• Assist senior engineers with advanced troubleshooting, equipment calibration, and specialised technical tasks.
• Participate in regular team meetings, technical briefings, and training sessions.
• Provide standby and on-call support based on an assigned roster to respond to customer requirements.
• Support ad hoc shift work or delivery-related activities when required.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Microelectronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Candidates with NITEC/Higher NITEC qualifications and relevant technical experience are welcome to apply.
• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply as structured training will be provided.
• Experience in equipment installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair will be an advantage.
• Cleanroom working experience is beneficial but not required.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with strong technical aptitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willing to travel occasionally and work irregular hours, overtime, shift work, or standby duties when required.
