Service Technician / Engineer
Duties & Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance or repair of Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS), familiar with conveyor system and lifter.
- Communicate effectively with all team members.
- Resolve within a reasonable time any equipment faults and ensure quality of work.
- Report faults in a timely manner to your superior.
- Compliance with workplace policies and procedures for risk identification, risk assessment and risk control.
- Active participation in activities associated with the management of workplace health and safety.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted on time and accurate.
- Complete all allocated tasks assigned by Superior.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Preferably 2-3 years’ of service experience in control engineering / industrial automation (conveyors) / maintenance of plant/machinery/material handling equipment.
- PLC experience in Siemens S7 will be added advantages.
- Ability to work in independently, make decisions and be results driven.
- Great team player and able to work collaboratively.
- Customer focused.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective on-going relationships.
- Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills.
- General good attitude and workplace behaviour.
- Patient, problem solver, able to interact with all levels of people.
- Willing to perform occasional overtime and standby duty after office hours & on weekends/public holidays as required.
- Willing to travel overseas as and when required on short notice.

Education and experiences
- ITE / Nitec / Diploma in areas of Electrical / Mechanical / Electromechanical / Mechatronics Engineering
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
