Service Technician (Marine Machinery, Got OT) - West - WCDT

Carry out inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of marine machinery and equipment.
Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system faults.
Perform overhaul and maintenance on components such as pumps, engines, winches, compressors, and navigation systems.
Install, test, and commission marine equipment in accordance with technical requirements.
Execute preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety of equipment.
Document maintenance activities, service reports, and repair records accurately.
Support workshop operations including assembly, calibration, and equipment testing.
Adhere to safety regulations, quality standards, and company operating procedures.
Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams on repair progress and technical matters.
Provide onboard technical support, including troubleshooting and emergency repair services when needed.

Possess knowledge and understanding of machinery used in heavy industry environments, including hydraulic systems.
Able to diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical faults effectively.
Minimum Nitec or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting hydraulic equipment.
Proactive team player with a positive and responsible work attitude.
Willing and able to work extended hours when required to meet urgent job deadlines.
Candidates with multi-disciplinary technical experience in construction or heavy vehicle mechanics will be an advantage.
