Job Summary: The Servicing Transfer Coordinator I is responsible for managing and coordinating all inbound and outbound servicing transfer activities. This includes the daily oversight of flow loan boardings and service releases, ensuring timely and accurate execution in compliance with regulatory and investor requirements. The role involves collaboration with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure a seamless transfer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all aspects of inbound flow servicing transfers, including daily, weekly, and monthly loan boardings.
  • Monitor and complete all tasks related to inbound servicing transfers to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Manage outbound servicing transfers (service releases), including both bulk and flow populations.
  • Collaborate with Servicing Transfer management and the Portfolio Management team to resolve issues related to ongoing transfer flows.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients and internal/external business partners, providing regular updates on transfer progress and delivering weekly status reports to management.
  • Conduct post-transfer research on recently boarded loans to ensure data integrity and issue resolution.
  • Participate in conference calls with prior servicers to support efficient and effective onboarding and transition processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations; complete all required compliance training.
  • Meet defined deadlines and maintain departmental performance standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in internal systems regarding the status of all assigned transfers.
  • Identify and communicate performance trends and provide feedback to supervisors and leadership.
  • Note: This is an on-site position and is not eligible for remote work.

  • Familiarity with regulatory and investor guidelines; ability to stay current with industry and policy changes.
  • Knowledge of MERS, MERS Transfers, and chain of Assignment of Mortgages.
  • Experience with special loans preferred.
  • Experience with data conversions and developing scripts/tools for data management and analysis is a plus.
