We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Healthcare Instructors to join our team on a sessional basis. This flexible role is ideal for healthcare professionals who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and supporting the development of the healthcare workforce while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

As a Sessional Healthcare Instructor, you will deliver engaging, high-quality training across a range of healthcare programmes, helping learners develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Priory Hospital Chelmsford is seeking a Sessional Fitness Instructor – to join our team. This is a self-employed, sessional role offering flexibility around the centre’s needs and your availability.

Deliver face-to-face healthcare training sessions.
Facilitate practical skills training and assess learner competence.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Provide timely, constructive feedback and learner support.
Maintain accurate assessment and attendance records.
Ensure training is delivered in line with current legislation, professional standards, and awarding body requirements.
Promote best practice in patient care, safeguarding, infection prevention, and health and safety.

Essential Requirements

Level 2 Gym Instructing qualification and a Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training, both of which should be CIMSPA approved.
Teaching, training, or assessor qualification (or substantial experience delivering training).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Up-to-date knowledge of current healthcare practice and legislation.
A commitment to delivering an outstanding learner experience.

Desirable

Experience delivering accredited healthcare qualifications.
Experience with practical assessments and quality assurance processes.
Current registration with a relevant professional body, where applicable.
