Set-Up/Tear Down (Part-Time)
The Set Up and Tear Down Team Member plays a vital role in preparing and transforming church spaces to support both worship services and classroom environments. This position involves the physical setup and takedown of pipe and drape systems, chairs, tables, and other equipment as needed to ensure smooth transitions between uses. This is a hands-on, behind-the-scenes role critical to creating welcoming and functional environments for ministry and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and dismantle pipe and drape dividers to create classrooms and defined areas after worship services or events.
- Move and arrange chairs, tables, and classroom furniture
according to instructions. - Maintain and organize storage areas for all equipment and supplies.
- Conduct quality checks on pipe and drape systems, ensuring stability, cleanliness, and functionality.
- Move swiftly and watchfully to ensure all required areas are prepared on time and with excellence. .
- Collaborate with the team and staff for efficient transitions between worship and classroom settings.
- Report any damage or equipment needs.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed during all tasks.
