Job Details:

Safe Life Defense is seeking a skilled Sewn Goods Manufacturer to join our production team. This role is responsible for the precise cutting, sewing, and assembly of ballistic and tactical gear. The ideal candidate has experience in industrial sewing, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture protective gear, vests, and accessories.
  • Follow patterns, templates, and work orders to ensure accuracy in product assembly.
  • Cut, sew, and assemble fabric, ballistic materials, and other textiles according to specifications.
  • Inspect products for defects and ensure high-quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines and report any mechanical issues.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience in operating industrial sewing machines and equipment preferred, but not required.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of different fabrics and materials used in tactical gear production.
