Authorities and Responsibilities
Sheet Metal/Welding/Debur/Laser/Benching/Polishing/Assembly
- Ensure all productions, fabrication work is done with acceptable quality by daily monitoring includes inspecting according to specification, procedure and applicable standards in your core department as assigned.
- Understand all technical specification and standard compliance and ability to handle troubleshooting project production correction.
- Co-ordinate, communicate with all member/department even carrying out inspection of all the production/welding/assembly and associated actions in accordance with the approved production/Welding Procedure Specification, drawings and Company Specification and requirements.
- Co-ordinate and liaise with Production/Welding etc personnel to ensure that all inspection stages complying to inspection and test plans on material or structure.
- Witness and verify all production/assembly/tests include reinstatement etc. and prepare reports after such report/ tests are conducted.
- Verify product identification through material verification inspection and periodical random checks on site.
- Responsible in executing directives as set forth for production Quality Assurance Department in meeting management objectives in term of quality control/assurance of all production, fabrication works/projects.
- Implement and maintain a system of auditing the facility and periodic production, assembly, welding calibration of test, measuring and tools include all documentation, procedure qualification records accordance to customer specification and code.
- Manage and supervise a team of production, welding, assembly / technicians in meeting departmental quality goals and production schedule.
- Manage customer complaints, corrective and preventive action programs and Administer and manage continuous improvement program for all production/welding/sheet metal/assembly processes.
- Work closely with customers, production and suppliers to meet the quality requirements.
- Review / prepare, administer and implement production Quality Assurance Plans, Inspection Test Plans and other Operational procedures in accordance to the technical specifications, customer's surveillance requirements, and good manufacturing / engineering practices, and enforce the same on Operations in their execution.
- Work closely among inter-department to ensure committed schedules are met in a timely and effectively manner.
- Manage the implementation / schedule of production/sheet metal, welding etc production/fabrication control.
- Participate in the implementation of risk assessment and risk control of medical devices
- Any other tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time.
Quality
- Maintain the project work instruction original Procedure Qualification Record, production, fabrication, welding Procedure Specification, and production/fabrication Welder Qualification Record and also register all type of field inspection
- Update production/fabrication/inspection summary to ensure material and inspection status traceability reports.
- To maintain good production/fabrication Quality house-keeping -5S and ensure all production/fabrication Quality practices are in accordance to A & One Precision best practices and other practices which the Company may introduce from time to time.
- To maintain good workplace health and safety rules and regulations compliances at all time in production/workplace.
Administration
- Ensure safe custody of production/fabrication management administration documentation recording and updating.
- To co-ordinate and human relation working attitude with all production/fabrication and department fellow team and others department pro-actively and team-work at all time for QC inspection targets and timely update/delivery.
Competence Requirements
- Preferred NTC 2 / Diploma in Engineering discipline or equivalent.
- Perform production programming, fabrication measuring tools/equipment.
- Certified with welding certification by American Welding Society, Certification Welding Inspector, Certificate of CSWIP 31 or AWS-CWI will be advantage or equivalent
- Minimum 5 – 8 years of related experiences in welding capacity in production/fabrication structural manufacturing.
- Able to interpret technical drawings and reading symbols.
