Shipping Coordinator - 1st Shift
Quanex is looking for a Shipping Coordinator – 1st Shift to join our team located in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

As a Shipping Coordinator, you'll be responsible for organizing finished goods, loading outbound shipments, and ensuring materials are where they need to be to support production. You'll work closely with manufacturing teams to meet delivery commitments, maintain efficient workflows, and help keep operations running smoothly.
This role offers a blend of shipping, logistics, material handling, and production support, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and taking ownership of results. Your ability to stay organized, adapt to changing priorities, and support the broader team will be key to your success.
Salary: $20.50-$25.50 per hour, starting wage varies based on your experience
New Hire Bonus: $1,000, payout increments at 30-days, 60-days and 6-months of employment!
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
Work Hours if overtime is required: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 4:30pm, potential Saturday hours

What Success Looks Like:
- Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
- Microsoft office and ERP knowledge.
- Communicate with other Quanex locations regarding shipments, full trucks, and logistics team.
- Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes all documentation related to the position and communicate late or non-shipments to Customer Service and Sales.
- Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
What You Bring:
- High School or equivalent education, required.
- 6 months+ of manufacturing experience, preferred.
- 6 months+ of shipping experience, preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including excel and Teams.
- Ability to perform detailed work that requires high levels of concentration in a fast-paced environment.
- Bringing a positive attitude and team-oriented mentality.
