Job Description
Responsibilities
Assist with staging and preparing products for shipment
Move materials and finished goods within the department
Support loading activities under the direction of Shipping Leads or Shipping II team members
Perform basic scanning and verification tasks
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Assist with restaging, sorting, and inventory accuracy tasks
Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and warehouse procedures
Communicate effectively with team members and leadership
Perform bending, reaching, stooping, twisting, and general material handling
Learn MITER Brands shipping processes with the goal of developing toward Shipping II responsibilities
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, and moving throughout the warehouse
Repetitive lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and participate in team lifts as needed
Bending, stooping, reaching, and twisting
Safe handling of glass, frames, and finished goods
Ability to use basic scanning equipment and perform simple computer tasks
Standing for extended periods during a 10–12 hour shift
Fine motor skills for handling tools, scanning, and documentation
Visual inspection capability to identify product quality issues
Walking on concrete floors throughout the shift
Ability to work in warehouse conditions (temperature changes, noise, dust)
Sustaining a consistent work pace throughout shift
Strong attention to detail in staging and verification tasks
