Shipping Operation Executive

Job description:

  • Physical attendance onboard vessels as protective, owners and charterers agent
  • Able to liaise and coordinate with respective government bodies for smooth vessels turnaround on arrival and departure clearance.
  • Experience in handling wet and dry cargo, bulk cargo and project vessels as agent.
  • Able to handle crew change, good coordination on owners matters independently.
  • Coordinate with repairs, berths, tugs, harbor pilots and launches.
  • Adhoc tasks as per Charterer/Owners requirement.
  • Updating vessel records and invoices using the company ERP system.
  • Other tasks assigned by HOD.


Requirement:

  • Flexible with the ability to think on the spot.
  • Computer literate with tertiary education.
  • Preferred 1-year relevant experience.
  • Good negotiation and communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with people of all levels.
  • Ability to work under intense pressure.
  • Able to work long working hours and during holidays.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin is preferred as this role needs to deal with both English and Chinese speaking stakeholders quite frequently.
