Shop Grinder/Blaster- MFG

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use plasma cutter on a turntable to cut elbow halves and de-cap.
• Use hand grinder to grind bevels for elbows to be fit up for welding.
• Use hand cutting torch to cut elbows.
• Clean/Finish all fittings to remove all grinding marks, scratches and surface imperfections using grit blast and sand blast removing equipment.
• Inspect all blast equipment and PPE associated equipment daily before beginning any blasting.
• Work with minimum supervision.
• Keep area environmentally clean and orderly at all times.
• Provide on the job training to new employees as needed.
• Follow all safety and health policies and procedures issued by the company.
