The US base salary range for this full-time position is $229,600 to $237,000 + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits determined by role, level, and location. Position reports to the Google Mountain View, CA office & may allow for a hybrid schedule as per Google policy.

  • Design complex silicon systems by clarifying requirements, assessing trade-offs, and leading design reviews to align on technology and methodology
  • Contribute to the end-to-end development and successful delivery of complex, high-performance silicon systems from concept to production
  • Define test requirements and execute validation plans for silicon systems, influencing designs to enhance testability and debugging capabilities
  • Validate and debug multiple high-complexity silicon systems independently, guiding junior engineers to achieve project results
  • Identify process redundancies and spearhead initiatives to standardize methods and improve overall operational efficiency and productivity. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, policies, and procedures to promote high efficiency and sustainability in all silicon deliverables.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Silicon Generalist-related occupation.
  • Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Silicon Generalist-related occupation.
  • Position requires 3 years of experience in the following: Micro-architecture design for silicon components. System architecture design for RTL and software systems. System-level analysis of silicon engineering problems. Vendor Management of silicon IP. CAD Automation experience for silicon IP
