Silver Dollar City - Attractions Team Member, Front Gate (Full-Time Seasonal, 2026)

Job Summary:

Interact with guests one on one by working in Guest Services for the famous Silver Dollar City. You will have the opportunity to greet thousands of guests daily as a Front Gate Team Member and answer any of their questions about Silver Dollar City’s shows, 40+ rides and attractions, and events that may take place during their visit. As a Front Gate Team Member, you will work in a variety of areas such as the Ticket Booths, Rentals Booth, Guest Relations, Midtown Guest Services, Lost & Found, and Turnstiles.

This position starts now and ends 01/02/2027.

Must be at least 16 years of age.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned to assist the Attractions teams.

  • Trained in all areas of the Front Gate.
  • Use a computer to sell Admission Tickets, Add Ons, and Season Passes.
  • Rent Strollers, Wheelchairs, and Electric Convenience Vehicles to guests at Rentals Booth.
  • Provides specific and clear instructions for operating Rental items.
  • Clean, stack, and un-stack strollers for daily rental at the Rentals Booth.
  • Scan each valid admission ticket at the Turnstiles prior to entering the park.
  • Provide guest services and handle guest concerns with friendliness in all areas of the Front Gate.
  • Handle cash and make correct change to ensure a balanced cash drawer every day.
  • Ensure proper handling of customer credit card information in compliance with Property Procedures and Purchasing Card Industry (PCI) standards.
  • Answer questions pertaining to tickets, promotions, schedules, reservations, add ons, and provide information relating to upcoming events and attractions.
  • Process Lost and Found items and return lost items to the correct owner.
  • Assist guests with the Silver Dollar City App.
  • Follow all Silver Dollar City and Herschend Family Entertainment Safety and Operating Procedures.

Education/Experience:

Previous cash handling experience is preferred.

  • Stand: Uneven terrain, inclines, asphalt, and concrete.
  • Walk: Up/down steps, uneven and sloped surfaces, including to and from assigned employee parking and employees assigned work area. Distance should be no greater than .5 miles one way.
  • Lift/Carry/Push/Pull: Up to 50 lbs.
  • Climb: Up and down stairs/ladders, uneven and sloped surfaces and be able to climb and descend on an employee shuttle bus.
  • Repetitive Motion: Bending and twisting.
  • Use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Speak and hear clearly.
  • See: Near/far, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
