Job Summary

The Simulation Technologies Program Coordinator collaborates with CHHS faculty and external partners to design, develop, implement, and evaluate experiential learning activities that utilized advanced robotic patient (manikins), advanced Elevate Healthcare audio/visual recording technology, and extended reailty (XR) technologies such as the Anatomage VR Anatomy Tables, and Intulect VR simulation case studies to support undergraduate and post-graduate student experiential learning in areas such as, anatomy & phsyiology, adult health, maternal and newborn health, and pediatric health. They oversee the daily technical readiness of sim center operations, including the medical air compressor system, and all ancillary medical and IT equipment (e.g., IV pumps, laptops, medical ventilators, etc.).

Authority and Accountability

The Simulation Technologies Program Coordinator will report to the Director of the Henson Medical Simulation Center.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • A master's degree in a health science related field
  • 3 or more years of developing and implementing experiential learning activities used advanced technologies
  • Evidence of research & scholarship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Teaching health sciences related coursework at the undergraduate or graduate level
  • Expertise in the use of learning management systems
  • Certified Health Simulation Educator

Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.

Additional Job Information:

The position is a Contingent II, full-time, exempt position.
