Site Admin cum PRO (Public Relations Officer)
Job Summary
Support construction projects by managing administrative and public relations tasks, coordinating with HQ and government bodies, and ensuring smooth communication and reporting to uphold project standards and stakeholder satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry, manage phone calls, and organize filing, photocopying, faxing, and scanning to maintain accurate administrative records
- Prepare, sort, and organize documents and files to support project workflows
- Assist in ordering materials, tools, and PPE to ensure timely availability for project needs
- Coordinate with HQ on purchase orders and delivery schedules to facilitate smooth procurement processes
- Address and resolve public relations issues arising from construction projects to maintain positive community relations
- Manage and respond to public complaints, enquiries, requests, and feedback to uphold company reputation
- Liaise with government bodies and stakeholders to ensure compliance and effective communication
- Prepare and submit weekly updates and monthly Public Relations reports to track project progress and public engagement
- Execute additional ad-hoc duties as assigned to support project and office operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office to efficiently manage documentation and communication
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders and the public
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Public Relations, Communications or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in administrative or public relations roles within the construction industry
