Site Architect

Fixupfamily is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Site Architect to oversee construction projects from inception through to successful completion. In this role, you will bridge the gap between design concepts and physical execution, ensuring that all architectural details, structural elements, and high-end finishes are delivered exactly as envisioned.

The ideal candidate possesses strong technical knowledge, exceptional problem-solving abilities on-site, and the communication skills required to manage subcontractors, collaborate with engineers, and interface effectively with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Quality Control: Oversee daily construction activities to ensure work aligns precisely with approved architectural drawings, specifications, and quality benchmarks.
2. Design Implementation: Interpret architectural plans, working drawings, and material specifications for site workers and subcontractors; resolve any design discrepancies or site conflicts immediately.
3. Collaboration & Coordination: Act as the primary technical liaison between the design office, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and site contractors.
4. Progress Reporting: Monitor project timelines, track milestones, and provide comprehensive weekly progress updates, photos, and site logs to executive management.
5. Material & Finish Verification: Inspect delivered materials and finishes to verify they meet structural specifications and aesthetic standards before installation.
6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all site operations adhere strictly to local building codes, structural regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
1. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
2. Experience: Proven experience working as a Site Architect, Project Architect, or Resident Engineer directly on active residential or commercial construction sites.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex architectural drawings, structural layouts, and MEP plans. Familiarity with CAD/BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit) is highly advantageous.
4. Site Management: Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, craftsmanship standards, and structural detailing.
5. Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced site environment.
