Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Construction Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing site works related to steel structure installation, precast works, roadworks, and drainage systems.

  • Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site supervisors to ensure smooth work progress and timely completion of works.

  • Review construction drawings and resolve technical issues on site.

  • Ensure compliance with project schedule, quality standards, and safety regulations.

  • Prepare and submit technical documents including method statements, material submissions, shop drawings, and work inspection requests.

  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and relevant authorities regarding site matters and inspections.

  • Monitor site progress and prepare progress reports.

  • Ensure proper implementation of workplace safety and health practices on site.

  • Assist in resolving site technical issues and providing engineering support to the project team.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in steel structures, precast works, roadworks, or drainage construction projects.

  • Familiar with construction practices, technical drawings, and project coordination.

  • Knowledge of local construction regulations and safety requirements is an advantage.

  • Good communication and coordination skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic engineering software such as AutoCAD.

  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  • LTA MRT experience are prefer.
