Site Engineer
Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate daily site operations to ensure works are carried out according to project schedule, safety standards, and technical specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship quality to meet engineering and regulatory requirements.
- Resolve technical issues on site and provide engineering support to subcontractors and workers.
- Check and review construction drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
- Liaise with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and relevant authorities for project matters.
- Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and documentation required by project management.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations.
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordination and implementation of construction works.
Job Requirements
- At least 2-4 years of relevant site supervision or construction experience preferred.
- Knowledge of civil engineering works, construction processes, and site coordination.
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Good communication and coordination skills with subcontractors and workers.
- Able to work independently and handle site issues under minimal supervision.
- Familiar with local building codes and safety regulations is an advantage
