Site Engineer III

Your role

This is a day shift role. The position reports to the the Manager Data Center or Manager Engineering Operation. The Site Engineer III works closely with the responsible Lead Engineer and/or Manager Engineering Operations and other Site teams. Beyond Site Operations contacts are maintained with Property Operations & Service planning, Implementation Services and Customer Success management. External contact with customers and suppliers operating on the sites.

What you’ll do

 Lead in upholding company safety policies, operational efficiency, and core values.
 Ensure strict compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
 Oversee maintenance and repair activities, including coordination with subcontractors.
 Manage on-call duties and incident resolution as needed.
 Document and analyze progress, issues, and outcomes, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
 Provide comprehensive supervision, training, mentoring, and guidance to site engineers, fostering their professional development, and contributing to team development and recruitment efforts.
 Demonstrate mastery across a wide range of essential technical skills, including complex troubleshooting and project management.
 Possess in-depth expertise in the specialized technical field relevant to the position.

What you’ll need

 Proven experience in ‘Mission critical’ operations and maintenance of large scale electrotechnical and/or mechanical systems
 Technical education / training certification in the field of ‘Mission Critical’ Operations.
 Education to a vocational level in a technical field and/or site engineering position
 Skilled in maintenance of electrotechnical and/or mechanical systems
 Preferably skilled in the maintenance of fire detection and suppression systems
 Novice in maintenance of conveyor technique (elevators), and/or technical security systems (CCTV, Access Control)
 HVAC Mechanical and/or Electrical
 Digital Realty Internal certifications
 Proficient in utilizing various test equipment.
