SITE ENGINEER

Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Site Engineer to oversee construction activities on-site and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities at the project site.
  • Monitor site progress and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Prepare and submit site reports, progress updates, and documentation.
  • Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during construction.
  • Monitor material usage and site resources to minimize wastage.
  • Ensure all works comply with local regulations, company policies, and client requirements.
  • Attend site meetings and coordinate project activities with stakeholders.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Review method statements, risk assessments, and work procedures.
  • Ensure proper implementation of workplace safety and health (WSH) requirements.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of relevant construction site experience.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering practices.
  • Familiarity with local building regulations and safety requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines.
