SITE ENGINEER
Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Site Engineer to oversee construction activities on-site and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities at the project site.
- Monitor site progress and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and submit site reports, progress updates, and documentation.
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during construction.
- Monitor material usage and site resources to minimize wastage.
- Ensure all works comply with local regulations, company policies, and client requirements.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate project activities with stakeholders.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
- Review method statements, risk assessments, and work procedures.
- Ensure proper implementation of workplace safety and health (WSH) requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant construction site experience.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering practices.
- Familiarity with local building regulations and safety requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines.
