Site Engineer (Superstructure)

Acciona is seeking a Superstructure Site Engineer for our infrastructure project in Metro Manila. The role involves supervising bored piling activities, monitoring site progress, and ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications. It includes coordinating operations, inspecting rebar and concrete works, maintaining activity records, and resolving site issues while working closely with subcontractors and the project team to ensure quality, safety, and efficient execution.

• Review piling drawings, specifications and method statements prior to execution.
• Coordinate with construction site team for opening work fronts and ensuring required materials are delivered on time to site, records daily and weekly.
• Supervise piling activities (bored piles, pile tests, etc) to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Maintain record log for duration of each pile activity (survey, casing installation, drilling, rebar cage installation, concrete)
• Ensure correct installation of reinforcement cages, casings, tremie pipes, and concrete placement.
• Identify and resolve site issues such as obstructions, collapse, loss of concrete, or deviations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate site logistics, deliveries, and subcontractors
• Good communication skills to work effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, and project team
• Interpret and familiarized with rebar works and concreting works.
• Inspect work to ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Must have at least 3–5 years of work experience as a Site Engineer, preferably in superstructure works for building, bridge, or infrastructure projects.
• Solid working knowledge of formwork systems, concreting works, and cast-in-situ deck construction activities
