The Site Manager – Fabrication, working as part of the MDC Product Delivery Team, is responsible for overseeing the delivery of subsea structures from contract award through to loadout. This role acts as the primary interface with the fabrication partner, ensuring the site operates at peak performance across HSE, Quality, Cost, and Delivery. As a customer‑facing position, the Site Manager manages day‑to‑day client interactions on site, providing clear reporting, progress updates, and forward‑looking forecasts to support successful project execution.

As a Site Manager - Fabrication, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and enforcing all HSE requirements on site, embedding BH non‑negotiables and global best practices.
  • Providing day‑to‑day leadership to the site team, ensuring cost, quality, and delivery targets are met throughout fabrication and loadout.
  • Overseeing all site activities from mobilisation to demobilisation, coordinating fabricator, sub‑supplier, and subcontractor operations.
  • Assessing fabricator capabilities and constraints, implementing mitigation strategies and lean practices to optimise performance.
  • Monitoring progress and compliance against technical and schedule requirements, reporting accurately and minimising BH commercial exposure.
  • Acting as the primary on‑site interface with the client, providing updates, resolving issues, and supporting technical coordination between BH and the yard.
  • Maintaining quality control processes, ensuring timely closure of NCRs and supporting the Product Delivery Manager with commercial and customer matters.
  • Providing KPI and performance data, support programme updates, and establish project‑specific procedures where required.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have proven experience managing fabrication or construction activities in subsea, offshore, or heavy engineering environments.
  • Have strong knowledge of HSE regulations with a track record of driving safety culture on industrial sites.
  • Have a solid understanding of fabrication processes, yard operations, and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Have demonstrated leadership experience dealing with multidisciplinary site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers from mobilisation to loadout.
  • Have experience monitoring progress, managing risks, and ensuring cost, schedule, and quality performance.
  • Be skilled in client-facing communication, providing updates, resolving issues, and coordinating technical interfaces.
  • Be familiar with quality systems, NCR management, and supporting commercial and change‑related activities.
  • Be highly organised, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement and lean practices.
