Site Supervisor

LTL Contracting is looking to hire a Site Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Organize and coordinate day to day project operations and field staff
  • Plan and schedule work with operations for available resources to meet client needs
  • Ensure work is completed according to plans, standards and specifications
  • Track and submit quantities for invoicing
  • Proactively communicate and coordinate daily/as needed with GC/owner staff, suppliers and engineering re: scope of work, equipment needed to complete jobs and problem solve
  • Trouble shoot field issues on-site to maintain workflow and meet deliverables
  • Ensure sufficient data obtained and documented through life of the contract to substantiate contractor's progress and final payment certificates
  • Obtain and maintain up to date and accurate utility locates
  • Prepare job sheets for field staff
  • Other duties as assigned by your senior manager

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years progressive experience in the heavy civil construction industry
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team
  • Must have strong communication, time management, scheduling and negotiation skills
  • Able to multi task and sustain productivity over long hours in a fast paced environment
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
  • Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
  • Candidates must be open to working as per project requirements (weekends etc) and out of town when required
