Position Summary<\/b>

Trinity Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech\-Language Pathologist (SLP)<\/b> to join our team in Newton, NC. This position offers the opportunity to work in both skilled nursing and outpatient settings<\/b>, providing diverse and rewarding patient care experiences.

The Speech\-Language Pathologist is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment programs for individuals experiencing speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities<\/b>

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
    <\/li>
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and patient needs
    <\/li>
  • Provide therapy services in both skilled and outpatient environments
    <\/li>
  • Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and caregivers to ensure coordinated care
    <\/li>
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with regulatory standards
    <\/li>
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs

    Qualifications<\/b>
    <\/h3>
    • Master\u2019s degree in Speech\-Language Pathology
      <\/li>
    • Current North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
      <\/li>
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC\-SLP) preferred (CFY candidates may be considered)
      <\/li>
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
      <\/li>
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
