What You Will Do<\/b><\/span>
<\/b><\/span><\/div>

As an Application Engineer, you\u2019ll play a key role in enabling and supporting the core features of our smart building platform, <\/span><\/span>KODE OS<\/span><\/span><\/b>. You\u2019ll work closely with cross\-functional teams to make sure applications are deployed according to standards, aligned with client needs, and consistently deliver value.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

In this role, you will:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

  • Oversee and enable core applications, and future KODE OS features.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Identify and resolve any gaps or blockers in deployment, designing custom solutions (workflows, routines, adapters) when needed. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Client Success teams to ensure applications work seamlessly and meet client\-specific use cases.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Interpret and review technical documentation (such as mechanical drawings and sequences of operations) to plan and execute application enablement.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges, ensuring applications deliver meaningful results and insights for clients.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Provide ongoing feedback to improve processes, deployment standards, and product capabilities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Support clients and partners by ensuring applications are optimized, documented, and aligned with operational goals.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • Experience in the <\/span>Smart Building, IoT, or software engineering<\/span> space.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Strong knowledge of <\/span>HVAC and mechanical systems,<\/span> with the ability to understand practical applications.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Familiarity with <\/span>Fault Detection & Diagnostics (FDD)<\/span> or other building automation applications is a plus. <\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Solid <\/span>data analysis<\/span> skills, with the ability to work across diverse data sets and translate insights into action. <\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Proficiency in programming or scripting (e.g., <\/span>Python<\/span> or similar).<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Strong problem\-solving skills and the ability to design scalable solutions.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work with both technical and client\-facing teams.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in <\/span>Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field<\/span> preferred.<\/span>
