Job Description

Early Warning & Portfolio Surveillance

  • Portfolio monitoring to identify early warning signals (EWS) such as deteriorating financials, delinquency trends, or adverse market developments.
  • Engage with Relationship Managers (RMs) and Credit Analysts to assess at-risk customers and propose mitigation strategies.

Credit Risk Governance & Reporting

  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of watchlist, Early Warning Signals, and remedial accounts to management and stakeholders
  • Monitor portfolio trends, concentrations, and recovery performance; recommend process improvements to strengthen the bank’s risk posture.

Remedial Account Management

  • Oversee the management of accounts showing early signs of distress, including restructuring/rescheduling, recovery planning, and exit strategies.
  • Collaborate with RMs to develop action plans for accounts exhibiting potential vulnerabilities

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as key liaison between Business Units, Credit Middle Market and Risk Management.
  • Participate in stakeholder & early alert meetings to discuss key accounts and portfolio health.
  • Maintain strong communication with senior management on emerging risks, sectoral vulnerabilities, and major exposures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Finance ,Accounting, Economics or related discipline
  • Experience in commercial or corporate banking is an added advantage
  • Good communication skills.
