Overview

The Social Media Associate & Creator Role at Carver Road supports the development and execution of Rosevale Cocktail Room and Starchild Rooftop’s social media and content strategies designed to attract and engage guests, increase sales, raise brand awareness, and grow community engagement in a measurable way.

This role is highly hands-on, with a strong focus on creating, producing, and editing content for digital platforms across multiple food and beverage venues. The Associate works closely with the Marketing team to bring brand storytelling to life across social media channels including Meta, TikTok, etc ensuring all content aligns with brand voice, marketing campaigns, and guest experience goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and posting content across social media platforms.

  • Capture and edit photo and video content for digital use, including short-form video (Reels/TikTok).

  • Help maintain the social media content calendar and ensure posts go out on schedule.

  • Monitor comments and messages, responding in a timely and professional manner.

  • Support on-site content capture at venues, events, and activations.

  • Keep social media profiles up to date (bios, links, hours, etc.).

  • Assist with planning and coordinating photoshoots and video shoots, including basic shot lists and logistics for Carversteak NYC.

  • Help coordinate with external social media agencies and content partners to keep projects on track.

  • Track basic performance metrics and share insights with the marketing team.

  • Support influencer visits and ensure content deliverables are captured.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, culinary) to gather content and align messaging.

  • Assist with special projects, campaigns, and marketing initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Marketing or Communications.

  • 2-4 years’ experience in past previous social media / marketing roles. (hospitality and entertainment industry preferred).

  • Must be proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, Canva, Adobe, and Capcut.

  • Must be an expert in Social Media Platforms.

  • Meta, X, Tik Tok, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn

  • Knowing how to pivot at times when in need.

  • Ability to multi-task multiple projects at once and understanding priority.

  • Extremely organized and excellent communication + presentation skills.

  • Strong visual storytelling skills with an eye for composition, lighting, and trends.

  • Well-rounded knowledge of all market segments, and channel sources, as well as ability to develop a strategic plan for each.

  • Passion for Hospitality, and Food & Beverage

  • Experience in Graphic design a plus.
