Social Media is the team that shapes how millions of Filipinos discover, engage with, and talk about Salmon. We build content that educates, entertains, and creates meaningful connections between our brand and our customers.
As Salmon continues to grow, social media plays a critical role in building awareness, driving engagement, supporting product launches, and strengthening our brand presence across multiple channels. This team works closely with Marketing, PR, Growth, Media, HR, and external partners to turn business initiatives into content people actually want to watch, share, and engage with.
We're looking for creative strategists who understand how modern content ecosystems work and can help build a social media presence that stands out in a crowded market.
About the Role
As a Social Media Manager, you will own and drive Salmon's social media strategy across key platforms, helping transform our social presence from informative to impossible to ignore.
You'll be responsible for defining content direction, building content pillars, leading content creators, and partnering with internal teams and agencies to create engaging, high-performing content. From financial education and product storytelling to partnerships, campaigns, and cultural moments, you'll ensure Salmon remains relevant, engaging, and impactful across every channel.
This role combines strategic thinking, creative leadership, and hands-on execution. We're looking for someone who can build, experiment, optimize, and scale a social media function that drives both brand growth and business impact.
What You'll Do
Social Media Strategy & Growth
Own and drive Salmon's social media strategy across TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
Define content priorities, channel strategies, and audience engagement approaches
Develop and evolve content pillars that support brand, business, and growth objectives
Identify opportunities to increase reach, engagement, and audience growth across channels
Stay ahead of platform trends, content formats, and emerging social behaviors
Content Leadership & Execution
Lead content planning, creation, publishing, and optimization activities
Build and maintain content pillars across financial education, product storytelling, lifestyle content, and customer "money moments"
Guide and review content produced by internal creators and external partners
Ensure content remains aligned with brand standards, business objectives, and audience needs
Support rapid content production around campaigns, partnerships, launches, and cultural moments
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing, PR, Media, Growth, HR, Product, and external agencies to deliver integrated campaigns
Translate marketing initiatives, partnerships, and activations into engaging social-first content
Collaborate with creative teams to develop content concepts and storytelling approaches
Ensure alignment between social media activities and broader brand and business strategies
Performance & Analytics
Monitor and analyze social media performance across key metrics, including reach, engagement, audience growth, and marketing efficiency
Use data and insights to continuously improve content performance and channel effectiveness
Develop reporting frameworks and dashboards that provide visibility into social media impact
Identify opportunities to optimize content strategy based on audience behavior and platform performance
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and support a team of content creators and social media specialists
Establish content planning processes, quality standards, and workflows
Provide feedback and coaching to improve creative output and performance
Foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, accountability, and continuous improvement
What Makes You a Strong Fit
5–6+ years of experience in social media, content marketing, digital marketing, or related fields
Strong experience driving growth and engagement on TikTok and Facebook
Experience leading teams, managing creators, or reviewing content outputs
Proven ability to develop and execute successful social media strategies
Strong understanding of content marketing, storytelling, audience engagement, and social media trends
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
High ownership mindset with a passion for building and scaling new initiatives
Knowledge & Domain Expertise
Strong understanding of:
Social media strategy and content planning
TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn ecosystems
Community engagement and audience growth
Content performance measurement and optimization
Influencer, creator, and partnership marketing
Brand building and digital storytelling
Marketing analytics and campaign performance
Bonus:
Experience in fintech, banking, technology, e-commerce, or digital-first brands
Agency experience managing multiple brands or campaigns
Experience launching and scaling social channels from the ground up
Familiarity with paid social, influencer marketing, and content amplification strategies
Experience working with performance marketing and growth teams
Strong understanding of marketing efficiency metrics and attribution frameworks
