Through hospital\-based support units and state outreach programs,\nthe department offers direct services, manages partnerships with healthcare\ninstitutions, and drives awareness initiatives. Social Workers under NOP serve\nas key enablers of this mission, providing psychosocial support and\nfacilitating services for children and their families.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Role Overview<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> The Social Worker plays a vital role in supporting children with cancer\nand their families through every stage of the treatment journey. The primary\nresponsibility is to ensure smooth psychosocial transition and resource\nfacilitation from admission to discharge.
