Through hospital\-based support units and state outreach programs, the department offers direct services, manages partnerships with healthcare institutions, and drives awareness initiatives. Social Workers under NOP serve as key enablers of this mission, providing psychosocial support and facilitating services for children and their families.<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/p>Role Overview<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/p>The Social Worker plays a vital role in supporting children with cancer and their families through every stage of the treatment journey. The primary responsibility is to ensure smooth psychosocial transition and resource facilitation from admission to discharge.
