Software Engineer 5 - Talent Technology
For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer 5 - Talent Technology to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space. This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $388,000 – $558,000 annually
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, test, deploy, and manage end-to-end solutions for employee productivity improvements
* Own significant projects from problem definition to implementation, ensuring effective integrations
* Contribute to GenAI/LLM feature implementation in employee applications, from prototyping to production
* Make technical decisions on architecture, reliability, and performance, aligning with N-Tech standards
* Simplify existing systems by decommissioning low-value solutions and driving beneficial migrations or refactors
* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to iteratively deliver value and clarify requirements
* Communicate technical tradeoffs and impacts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Mentor and support fellow engineers, enhancing their skills and code quality
Qualifications
* 7+ years of experience as a software engineer with a proven record in delivering quality production systems
* Hands-on experience with AI/GenAI/LLMs in real products, with the ability to apply models to business problems
* Proficient in Python and Java, with ability to work across various languages and frameworks
* Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
* Experience in end-to-end project ownership, from requirements to ongoing operations
* Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and modern application architectures
* Demonstrated mentoring skills and ability to provide constructive feedback
