Design, build, and maintain high-quality Android components and server components for Pixel apps end to end, ensuring a premium user experience.
Partner closely with AI/ML teams to integrate AI/ML capabilities into native apps.
Work with PM, UX, QA and other cross functional partners to define requirements and design engineering solutions to user problems.
Collaborate with partners across Google to integrate app experiences into the broader Android ecosystem.
Deeply understand AI/ML capabilities, and help design applications at the edge of model capabilities to enable user goals, and operate at the cutting edge of agentic engineering to develop products.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin, C++, Python).
1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
Experience in native Android application development (using Kotlin and/or Java).
Experience with mobile development workflows, including testing frameworks, and performance analysis.
Experience integrating AI/ML into user-facing applications.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional, collaborative team environments.
