As a member of Point72’s Technology team, we encourage and support your professional development from day one—helping you advance your technical skills, contribute innovative ideas, and satisfy your own intellectual curiosity—all while delivering real business impact for our multi-billion-dollar global business.

What you’ll do

  • Partner directly with senior business stakeholders to shape roadmaps, define success metrics, and deliver high-impact automation that transforms corporate operations
  • Run discovery and requirements-gathering sessions, translate outcomes into clear technical designs, and own solutions from prototype to production
  • Build and operate integrations between enterprise systems and external SaaS vendors using REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven patterns
  • Design and implement secure authentication and authorization for integrations using OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, and single sign-on to protect sensitive data
  • Build scalable APIs and data pipelines that move and transform corporate data reliably across the enterprise systems landscape
  • Build and operate services on cloud infrastructure with infrastructure-as-code, applying sound networking and security practices to production environments
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and operational runbooks to keep production systems resilient and reduce incident resolution time
  • Automate build and deployment pipelines to accelerate delivery and maintain consistent environments across development, staging, and production
  • Develop and support internal web applications end-to-end when needed, applying frontend skills to deliver usable tools for corporate stakeholders
  • Mentor colleagues, participate in architecture and design reviews, produce clear technical documentation, and drive integration best practices across the team

What’s required

  • Minimum 5–7 years of professional software engineering experience with a clear track record of building and owning integrations between enterprise systems and third-party SaaS platforms in production
  • Strong backend engineering skills in one or more modern languages such as Java, C#/.NET, Python, Node.js, or Go, demonstrating depth and engineering judgment
  • Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party web services, with familiarity integrating legacy SOAP services
  • Hands-on experience implementing authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth2/OIDC and SAML, and working with directory-based authorization solutions like Active Directory or LDAP
  • Experience building and operating services on a major cloud platform (for example, AWS) using infrastructure-as-code tools (for example, Terraform), including networking and security controls
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with senior and business stakeholders to gather requirements, present trade-offs, and drive alignment across business and technology teams, including independently mapping business processes in HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, or other corporate-functions contexts
  • Experience partnering with security and compliance teams to meet control requirements for production go-live and to implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response procedures
  • Strong experience with Git, continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, observability tools, debugging and log analysis, and strong SQL skills with relational databases
  • Hands-on experience integrating enterprise SaaS vendors such as Workday, Greenhouse, SuccessFactors, or ServiceNow, with working knowledge of frontend web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or a modern frontend framework
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, combined with a commitment to the highest ethical standards
