Software Engineer I

Collaborate with talented teams across product, UX, and platform in a fast-paced, agile environment using ReactJS, JavaScript, GraphQL, and NodeJS in an AI first engineering culture.
Your Day-to-Day:
Write clean, high-performance, scalable code.
Build user-friendly APIs and services.
Develop robust unit and integration tests.
Contribute to scalable architecture and a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaborate across the organization to understand and translate business priorities into shipped features delivering customer success.
Build and ship high-quality products, leveraging AI tools at every stage of development.
Design and develop well-structured and easy-to-consume APIs.
Deliver quality, scalable, and maintainable software to customers at an impressive pace.
Contribute to OpenGov’s Engineering culture of innovation, leading-edge technology adoption and quality.
What we are looking for:
Pursuing a B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent (self-taught coders welcome!)
Strong foundation in any programming language (Java, C++, Python, C#, etc.)
Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
Develop robust unit and integration tests
Contribute to scalable architecture and a culture of continuous improvement
Bonus Points For
Experience with JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, or Python
Familiarity with GraphQL, event-driven systems, Kafka, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch
Demonstrate a strong understanding of data structure, algorithms and programming fundamentals.
