Software Engineer III, GDC Identity and Access Management

In this role, you will contribute in solving engineering issues, such as enforcing zero-trust principles in air-gapped systems where traditional connectivity assumptions don't apply.
We are dedicated to providing a reliable, accurate, secure, and transparent IAM experience. Our team designs, builds, and manages the complete IAM lifecycle for GDC, encompassing Identity Provider integrations, authentication, and scalable authorization services for all deployments.

- Drive the design and development of IAM solutions critical to GDC's unique deployments, including highly isolated and air-gapped environments.
- Take ownership of end-to-end technical execution, from ideation and architectural design through to implementation, testing, and successful integration.
- Partner effectively with engineering teams across the GDC organization to deliver cohesive and secure product experiences.
- Play a key role in maintaining service health and customer trust by investigating and resolving technical issues and ensuring system resilience.
- Contribute to a culture of security and engineering excellence by adhering to and promoting best practices.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of coding experience in Go.
- 2 years of experience in the field of quality/reliability engineering.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Kubernetes or Cloud Functions).
- Experience in software system architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with Cloud platforms (GCP etc.).
- Experience with building enterprise grade and highly scalable cloud platforms, products, and large-scale distributed systems.
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and understand complex inter-dependencies of a large-scale infrastructure.
