Software Engineer

You will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using established patterns and technologies. You will build and support backend systems that power product features and internal workflows. You will contribute to backend components across design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver end-to-end product features. You will support backend system reliability, performance, and scalability in production environments. You will write well-tested code and participate in code reviews and technical discussions. You will participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and remediation efforts under guidance. You will monitor and debug backend systems to identify and resolve issues. You will follow established backend engineering best practices for security, privacy, and compliance requirements. You will document APIs, data models, and system behavior to support maintainability and knowledge sharing. Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field (or foreign equivalent) and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Java or Python

• Logging and monitoring tools
• Version control systems
