Software Engineer, Rust & Python (Asset Pricing & Hedging)

You will design and implement robust backend services handling real time market data and pricing in a fast moving environment. You will work on low latency, event driven systems that enable reliable trading experiences for millions of users. You will develop microservices in Python and Rust and collaborate with cross functional teams to improve scalability and reliability. You will work on asset pricing and hedging components across multiple asset classes.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale high performance backend systems in Rust that power trading and pricing infrastructure
• Develop microservices and internal tooling using Python across a distributed systems environment
• Design clean reliable and maintainable solutions within an event driven architecture
• Work on real time systems handling market data pricing hedging and asset management across multiple asset classes
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve system scalability reliability and performance

Requirements

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience building scalable production grade systems
• Strong hands on experience with Rust plus solid working knowledge of Python
• Experience with distributed systems asynchronous programming and event driven architectures
• Familiarity with REST APIs websockets relational and/or NoSQL databases and messaging systems such as Kafka or ZeroMQ
• Bonus points if you have experience with AWS trading platforms market data systems or an interest in crypto and financial markets
