Software Engineer, Trade PMR

You will design and implement scalable backend services for the Trade PMR platform using .NET and AWS. You will architect and deploy integration APIs for third party CRMs and for the broader advisor ecosystem. You will ensure the platform can support significantly larger advisor activity and increased client throughput. You will mentor mid level and junior engineers. You will maintain and enhance the Fusion core software to ensure high availability and performance. You will collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to align engineering efforts with the business goals in the wealth management space.

Responsibilities

  • Design scalable backend services for the Trade PMR platform using .NET and AWS.
  • Architect and deploy integration APIs for third party CRMs and other systems.
  • Ensure the platform can support larger advisor activity and increased client throughput.
  • Mentor mid level and junior engineers across the Trade PMR org.
  • Maintain and enhance the core Fusion software to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to align engineering efforts with the broader business strategy for the wealth management industry.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional software development experience with a backend focus.
  • Expert level proficiency in .NET backend development.
  • Proven experience deploying services on AWS.
  • Extensive experience building and maintaining complex integrations (APIs SSO data flows).
  • Strong ability to work independently in a fast changing environment and manage multiple high priority workstreams.
  • Excellent communication skills and a track record of mentoring other engineers.
