Software QE Manager - System Applications, Test Engineering & Efficiency

As a Software QE Manager, you will lead a team of 8-10 QA Engineers & will be responsible for many projects on iOS & macOS. You will work closely with your team, other software engineers, project managers and various quality teams at Apple. You will coordinate testing with other teams, review test plans and related documentation, monitor progress, and provide sign-offs at key milestones. You will process data from multiple sources, draw meaningful conclusions, and present valuable recommendations to leadership. You will also be expected to contribute as an individual contributor. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience 3+ years leading a QE or Software engineering team Preferred Qualifications Deep understanding of modern software development methodologies, architecture, and SQA methodologies Open-minded with strong collaboration skills Comfortable working in a continually changing and dynamic environment and driving top issues to resolution Passionate about great customer experience, specially great UI experience Detail oriented, analytical, and a creative problem solver with interest in developing high quality software. Ability to triage problems, prioritize accordingly and propose resolutions. Advanced proficiency with iOS macOS or other operating systems such as Unix/Linux Exposure to automation/scripting
