Software Services Sales Executive (Public Sector)
Job Description & Requirements
We are looking for an ambitious and relationship‑driven Software Services Sales Executive to expand our presence in the Singapore Public Sector. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end sales and delivering winning solutions for government clients.
This role is ideal for someone with strong public‑sector experience, excellent communication skills (including Mandarin), and the ability to navigate fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder environments.
💼 What You’ll Do (Your Mission)
Sales & Account Ownership
- Lead and grow your assigned government accounts through strong engagement with key decision makers.
- Drive full sales cycles and maintain a healthy pipeline consistently meeting quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Identify, upsell and cross-sell opportunities across client agencies.
Client Relationship Management
- Build deep and trusted relationships with stakeholders across agencies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs, challenges, and digital transformation priorities.
- Provide a one‑stop experience for customers across all offered solutions and services.
Solution Coordination & Proposal Management
- Work with internal functional teams, pre‑sales, and service units to bring the right expertise to each opportunity.
- Develop compelling solution proposals and value propositions tailored to specific agency needs.
- Coordinate pricing, commercial terms, and contract negotiations.
Internal Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with delivery, technical, and leadership teams to strategize and craft winning approaches.
- Ensure alignment across business units to maximize deal success.
- Bridge client feedback and internal teams to continually improve offerings.
🎯 What We’re Looking For
- 3–7 years of experience in IT / software / ICT services sales.
- Prior experience handling public sector or GovTech-related accounts preferred.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes (e.g., GeBIZ, tenders).
- Mandarin-speaking to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
- Proven track record of hitting sales quotas and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong sense of ownership, resourcefulness, and ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Diploma or Degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory).
- Pre‑sales knowledge or experience in ICT services is a plus.
