Software Test Engineer

You will own manual testing for iOS Android and Web applications and perform comprehensive functional regression and exploratory tests. You will design develop and implement automated test frameworks and suites for UI API and integration layers. You will create test strategies and plans contribute to performance reliability and security testing use telemetry analytics and crash reporting to inform quality decisions collaborate with product and engineering to shift quality left and advocate for a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

• Own manual testing for iOS Android and Web applications
• Perform end-to-end API testing
• Design and implement automated test frameworks and suites for UI API and integration layers
• Develop and evolve test strategies and plans for major features
• Embed quality practices earlier in the development lifecycle
• Contribute to performance scalability and reliability testing
• Use telemetry analytics and crash reporting to inform testing
• Collaborate with Product Design and Engineering and provide technical guidance
• Advocate for the end-user experience and incorporate customer feedback into testing

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET) roles
• Experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies
• Strong expertise in test automation framework design and implementation for complex distributed systems
• Experience with Type Script
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright Cypress Appium XCUITest Espresso Jest Pytest K6 Maestro
• Strong understanding of API testing principles and tools such as Postman OpenAPI Swagger gRPCurl
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures such as GCP and containerization technologies such as Docker Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the development workflow
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to work asynchronously in a remote-first environment
