We are seeking a Solution Architect to join our Stack team and serve as the technical anchor for our customers — understanding their data and AI infrastructure challenges, architecting solutions on the Shakudo platform, and driving ongoing account growth. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who bridges deep technical expertise with strong relationship skills and can move between Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud infrastructure and strategic customer conversations.
In this role, you will own the technical relationship with assigned accounts: architecting production-ready solutions, integrating the Shakudo platform into customer environments, and expanding Shakudo's footprint by connecting customer needs to platform capabilities. This is not a pure pre-sales or post-sales role — it is an outcome-driven engineering and advisory role where success is measured by customer adoption, solution quality, and account growth.
Responsibilities
Design and deliver end-to-end technical solutions on the Shakudo platform that address real-world data and AI challenges for enterprise customers
Integrate open-source and proprietary components seamlessly with the Shakudo platform using Kubernetes, Helm Charts, and infrastructure-as-code
Build elegant, production-ready solutions — not just proof-of-concepts — that customers rely on in production
Contribute to architectural decisions and establish design patterns for platform development with high autonomy
Serve as the trusted technical advisor for assigned accounts — understand their infrastructure, roadmap, and pain points deeply
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues customers face in their data and AI stack, from Kubernetes orchestration to pipeline performance
Identify opportunities to expand Shakudo's footprint within existing accounts by connecting customer needs to platform capabilities
Navigate customer organizations effectively — from individual contributors to engineering leaders and C-suite decision-makers
Champion customer needs internally, influencing product direction and Stack team priorities
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to translate customer requirements into scalable, robust systems
Collaborate with Customer Engineering to ensure smooth hand-offs and consistent solution quality
Contribute to internal knowledge bases, solution patterns, and best practices that accelerate delivery across the team
Qualifications
4–8 years of experience in solution engineering, solution architecture, or a senior engineering role with significant client-facing responsibility
Strong Kubernetes and Helm Chart development and deployment experience
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
Backend and frontend experience (e.g., Python, React, TypeScript) — enough to be hands-on when needed
Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, solve complex technical problems under pressure, and drive account growth
Excellent communication skills — you can explain deep technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and translate business requirements into architecture
A hands-on, solutions-first mindset and a passion for fast, high-quality delivery
A Plus
Experience in data engineering, MLOps, or AI infrastructure
Prior experience in a Solutions Architect or Solutions Engineer role at a B2B infrastructure or platform company
Familiarity with the open-source data and AI ecosystem (dbt, Airflow, MLflow, etc.)

This is a work from office role based out of Bangalore (HSR Layout). Timings: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM IST — This overlap with our Toronto and San Francisco teams is essential for collaboration and customer engagement across time zones. Shakudo has offices in Toronto, San Francisco, and Bangalore.
