Solution Project Manager

We are looking for a Solution Project Manager to join our team.

What you'll do:

  • Take full lifecycle ownership of ICT projects, from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of ICT projects, ensuring alignment with defined objectives, system requirements, and business outcomes.

  • Define project scope, objectives, stakeholders, success criteria, and prepare comprehensive project initiation documentation.

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and coordination of technical teams (developers, network engineers, QA, and support staff).

  • Manage project budgets, including hardware, software, third-party vendors, and operational costs.

  • Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle using structured logs and governance processes.

  • Maintain continuous stakeholder communication through status reports, meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, facilitate technical discussions, resolve conflicts, and ensure delivery of project milestones.

  • Apply PRINCE2-based methodologies, adapting governance practices to project complexity and organizational context.

  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies, architectural standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain audit-ready documentation, including stage gates, change requests, approvals, and decision logs.

  • Facilitate technical workshops covering architecture, infrastructure readiness, system integration, data migration, and deployment planning.

  • Coordinate testing activities, including UAT planning, defect management, and release readiness.

  • Support go-live and deployment planning, ensuring production readiness and stakeholder approval.

  • Produce project closure reports, including outcomes, lessons learned, deliverables, and financial overview.

What you will need to bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in ICT project management within large organizations (1000+ users).

  • Strong understanding of modern information systems, technologies, and related security considerations.

  • Experience with technology design, deployment, and its impact on business operations and security posture.

  • PRINCE2 certification is preferred.

  • PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications are considered an advantage.

  • Experience with project management tools for planning, reporting, budgeting, and analytics.

  • Experience with procurement processes and tools (purchase requests, purchase orders, approvals, sourcing, and closure).

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.

  • Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including reporting to both technical teams and executives.

  • Ability to clearly document requirements, progress and project outcomes.

  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken.

  • Holds, or is eligible to obtain, a national security clearance as a citizen of a NATO member state.

  • Availability to work full-time on-site in Brussels (Belgium), with limited remote work (up to 1 day per week).
