Solution & Service Sales Representative

As a result of the ongoing growth and expansion of our Solutions & Service business, Armstrong Fluid Technology is looking for a Solutions & Service Sales Representative to support our LATAM business. She/He will be responsible for the sale of Genuine Armstrong Parts and full suite of Lifecycle Service offerings (Digital Services, Start-up, Commissioning, Maintenance, Optimization, Upgrades, Retrofits and Training) to owners, contractors, and parts dealers in collaboration with our reps, ASP’s and Regional Sales Managers.
This role will report directly to LATAM Sales Director, and the responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Activity: Services
- Own and execute LATAM solutions & service sales strategy and achieve bookings, sales and margin targets.
- Build and manage a funnel of sales opportunities for Lifecycle Services by aligning closely with Regional Sales Managers and Armstrong Representatives
- Collaborate with Key Accounts owners to ensure that Lifecycle Services are integral to the KAM plans for Owners, Armstrong Representatives, Agents, Consulting Engineers, Contractors and other value chain stakeholders
- Collaborate with Regional Field Service Manager to build a network of Armstrong Service Providers (ASP) as a key channel for sales of digital services
- Own key account plans for major ASP. Build call plans and sales activities associated with increasing services sales to or through these accounts.
- Work closely with National Service Delivery Manager to ensure that opportunities identified by technicians are followed through to close
- Lead launch execution of services offers with Offer Managers and Marketing Communications
- Actively participate with Offer Managers to build and enhance service offers based on feedback from customers
Sales Activities: Parts
- Own and execute national parts sales strategy and execution to achieve the top and bottom- line results
- Work closely with Services and Parts Delivery Manager and Regional Sales Managers to ensure that all parts channels, including parts dealers, are managed actively from a stocking standpoint
- Lead collection of local market intelligence to and ensure that national parts execution plan is aligned market feedback
Product Knowledge and Sales Strategy
- Sell Armstrong Products: Promote and sell Armstrong products and solutions, leveraging Armstrong’s sales strategy & process
- Maintain Product Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of product features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Develop Sales Strategies: Collaborate in creating sales strategies, marketing channels, and sales forecasts.
- Implement Best Practices: Apply the best commercial practices in alignment with the Armstrong Sales Process to ensure consistent execution excellence.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Update CRM System: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer information in the CRM system in real time.
- Compile Sales Reports: Compile and present sales reports as required, offering insights into market conditions and competitive activities.
- Monitor Market Conditions: Track competitive activities and market conditions to stay informed.
Team Collaboration and Development
- Promote Teamwork: Foster teamwork and maintain collaboration with other company departments.
- Support Special Projects: Assist with special projects assigned by the line manager, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
What We’re Looking For
Education and Experience
College or trade school preferred or equivalent HVAC experience
Preferred 1- 5 years HVAC experience
Preferred 1 -5 years experience selling HVAC parts, services, or projects
Knowledge in controls and BMS
Proven track record of developing and managing Key Accounts and customer relationships
Proficiency in English
Technical Skills
- Experience in tracking sales information of customers, forecasts, and reports using related software applications such as CRM
- Demonstrated negotiation skills to effectively close sales and foster long-term customer relationships.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations to prospective customers to demonstrate the value of products and services.
- Proficient in PC applications and ERP systems
- Strong technical knowledge of products and systems in the HVAC industry.
- Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills and proven ability in value and solution selling
Soft skills and other requirements
- Creative thinker with a knack for breaking down complex problems and providing clear, actionable solutions
- Open and authentic communicator with the ability to engage effectively in all situations
- Passion for staying updated with industry innovations and technologies
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally (40-50%) and possess a valid passport
