Solutions Lead
Scope<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/b>To be accountable for the end\-to\-end lifecycle of solutions\ndevelopment and commercialization for the business as required, utilizing both\nexisting and/or new technologies that operate together in an integrated manner,\nto meet the market needs. This will entail management, collaboration and optimization\nof partnerships and cross\-functional teams of sales, marketing and operations to\nensure overall balance is maintained between customer requirements and\nsolutions development prioritization.<\/span> <\/span> Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/b> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Translate\ncustomer business issues and opportunities into business requirements and\ntechnical solutions to influence product evolution to ensure requirements are\nimplemented in the application and solutions stack;<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Focus on solution\ndevelopment and architectural design for existing and future customer base with\nspecific emphasis on Ontec\u2019s managed services and solutions portfolio;<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Active\nparticipating in building the solutions strategy of Ontec, while supporting the\nimplementation through the sales environment; <\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Work together\nwith the sales team to develop customer specific plans linked to the solutions\nstrategy;<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Author and\ndeliver solution designs, proposals, presentations, pre\-sales demonstration,\nincluding pricing input<\/span>;<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Compile market intelligence <\/span>with\na solid understanding of the competitive landscape, including the ability to clearly\narticulate the technical differentiation between Ontec and its competitors;<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Determine the\ncompetitive average selling price (ASP) of products and solutions;<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Identify and\nrecommend new business opportunities;<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Turnkey ownership\nof Ontec partner management including contractual, commercial and collaborative\nengagement in the design and development of customer centric solutions<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ownership and\nmanagement of all strategic product and solutions marketing activities<\/span> Key Requirements<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/b>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Proven experience in the related\nfield and the utilities industry<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Applicable tertiary qualification<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Having an innovative mindset<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Excellent English verbal &\nwritten communication<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Interpersonal skills and the\nability to form & manage relationships at all levels, both internally and externally\n(stakeholder management)<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Requires knowledge of the industry\nofferings in across multiple disciplines (electricity, water), including metering,\ntelecommunications, managed services, IT, security, and IoT strategies;<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Possess strong presentation\nskills, with the ability to develop and deliver technical presentations with\ncustomers and tailor content to audience as appropriate<\/span> <\/span> <\/span>
