Complexity: Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Provides guidance to other team members within the latitude of established company policies. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s). May be responsible for multiple highly complex major projects requiring innovative, original solutions Experience: 4 year degree/ post 4 year degree, and typically 8 - 10 years or related experience; or an advanced degree with minimal experience; or equivalent work experience Impact: Focus of work is tactical -- typically operational, analytical or technical. Contributes to the overall planning for the department or program / project. Results are key to successful completion of major projects/programs. Influence / Leadership: Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, peer product development managers, product managers and hr. Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team. Scope: Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Acts as advisor to others to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. Supervision: Provides functional mentorship and cultural/competency based guidance to teams. Provides larger business/product context. Mentors on specific functional nuances and cross-functional impact.
