Southeast Asia Sales Manager (Singapore-Based)

Meeyear Intelligent Technology is a fully integrated manufacturer covering tooling, automation, and end-product production for automotive and AI server connectivity, with aggressive expansion in Southeast Asia.

Job Description

We are seeking a Southeast Asia Sales Manager to drive market expansion and business development across Singapore and the broader Southeast Asia region. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, building client relationships, and managing end-to-end sales processes within our core business segments such as Precision Tooling (Molds), Custom Automation Equipment (AI high-speed cables etc), Connector & Cable Products (Manufacturing), AI & High-Speed Connectivity (growth area).

This is an individual contributor role requiring a high level of independence, initiative, and the ability to develop markets from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute market expansion strategies across Singapore and Southeast Asia

  • Identify, engage, and acquire new clients within target industries

  • Conduct regular client visits and maintain strong customer relationships

  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, proposal preparation, negotiation, and closing

  • Track and follow up on ongoing projects to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction

  • Collaborate with internal engineering and production teams to deliver customized solutions

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial B2B or overseas sales experience

  • Proven track record in market development and client acquisition

  • Existing network in automation, telecommunications, or AI-server connectivity industries is preferred

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

  • Fluent in Chinese and English

  • Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia as required (Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Bachelor’s degree or above

Additional Information

  • Salary Range: SGD 6,500 – 10,000 per month

  • Incentives: Commission and performance-based incentives to be structured as the Southeast Asia market develops

  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Work Arrangement: Work from home (Singapore-based), with regional travel required

  • Role Scope: Individual contributor position; no team management responsibilities at the initial stage

  • Performance Evaluation: Based on client development approach, ability to engage key accounts, speed of market penetration, and collaboration with internal teams
