Spa therapist

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a variety of massage services, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies in accordance with company standards.

  • Interact with guests during treatments to understand their comfort level and adjust techniques when necessary.

  • Handle customer feedback professionally, escalate complaints when required, and report any incidents to the supervisor promptly.

  • Maintain high hygiene standards by cleaning and disinfecting treatment areas, replacing linens, and sanitizing tools and equipment before every session.

  • Clearly explain available treatments and therapies to guests, offering appropriate suggestions based on their needs.

  • Ensure treatment rooms are well supplied at all times and inform the supervisor of any low or missing stock.

  • Check guests’ health conditions, medical history, and allergies prior to performing any spa service.

Requirements

  • Possession of a massage-related certificate or diploma will be an advantage.

  • Previous hands-on experience in a spa or wellness environment is required.

  • Strong understanding of human anatomy, body mechanics, and various massage techniques.

  • Physically fit and able to remain on one’s feet for long working hours.

  • Well-organized with good time management skills.

  • Able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.

  • Demonstrates excellent service attitude and customer care skills.

  • Patient, respectful, and attentive to guests’ needs.
